Futures are working with a well renowned industry leading manufacture, in West Yorkshire, who is looking to appoint a buyer. This is an excellent company who have a strong emphasis on quality and a reputation for excellence. Role and Responsibilities:
Responsible for leading cost purchase of materials and components
Managing stock control to ensure all material is available at all times for the production teams
Represent the department in meetings as required
Develop and maintain supplier and internal relationship
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Experience buying components for a manufacturer
Prior experience working closely with R&D teams
Must be able to design using Solidworks
Experience purchasing parts from suppliers in the far east
MRP/ERP experience
