We are on the search for a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive growth in the subcontract machining and metal finishing division of a leader in providing top-notch subcontract machining, metal finishing and assembly services!
With a state-of-the-art facility in Surrey and a newly upgraded metal coating facility in Leicester, they’re set for significant growth—and want you to be part of this journey!
This is a newly created role with immense potential to shape the future of the business. You will work closely with our machine shop, production, and marketing teams to expand existing accounts and establish new customer relationships.
Your Key Responsibilities:
– Lead the expansion of existing accounts and secure new business opportunities.
– Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing tailored solutions.
– Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
– Work closely with internal teams on leads, estimates, quotes, proposals, and bids.
Your Skills and Experience:
– Proven engineering background (apprenticeship, academic, or time-served).
– Proven experience in engineering/manufacturing/estimating/business development.
– Familiarity with CNC machining/manufacturing and CAD/engineering drawings.
– Strong software skills (Microsoft Office, social media).
– Ability to travel across the UK and occasionally to manufacturing sites.
– Full UK Driver’s License.
– The right to work permanently in the UK without Sponsorship.
