Futures are supporting an innovative manufacturing business in West Yorkshire that works in a very niche corner of the market, supplying the leisure industry on a global basis!
Due to a period of unprecedented growth, the business are looking to appoint a Business Development Manager.
The successful individual will be responsible for managing a number of existing accounts but predominantly opening new doors nationally for the business within the leisure industry.
A background in supplying to the leisure, golf, consumer goods, caravans and trailer industries would be advantageous.
Your Roles and Responsibilities:
– Implement sales growth plans.
– Actively seek new business by various means.
– Manage a number of existing accounts.
– Work closely with the sales and marketing team to identify market routes.
– Participate in regular meetings.
– Visit clients on a national basis.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
– The successful candidate must have a ‘little black book’ of clients within the leisure industry.
– At least 3 years of sales experience.
– Understanding of leisure marketing and emerging businesses/sectors.
– Full driving license.
– Excellent people skills.
– Ability to use Microsoft Office.
