At Futures we are looking to appoint an Assembly Operator for a manufacturer based in North Yorkshire. Our client design and manufactures bespoke products for a range of industries including leisure, retail and supermarkets. Our client has a fantastic reputation in the industry and relies on repeat business and word of mouth. The successful Assembly Operator will be responsible for the manufacture and assembly of products as well as operating light machinery. The operative appointed will need to have worked with production machinery (CNC machinery especially) in a manufacturing environment.

* Ensure that products go out in full and on time
* Support the shop floor and assist with resolving production issues as and when required
* Ensure that all work is manufactured in accordance with the production plan and to the correct quality standard and meet the customer delivery dates;

* Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing factory environment
* The ability to read, understand and follow the relevant worksheet instructions.
* The ability to measure sizes accurately with the relevant measuring tools.
* A great attitude and desire to perform well
