We are working with a growing market leader, who provides bespoke products to manufacturers across a range of industries and are looking to add an Account Manager to the team in a new role for the business.

As Account Manager, you will be a pivotal figure in fostering and expanding relationships with key clients in the manufacturing and engineering sectors. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand client needs, deliver tailored solutions, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.

Your Responsibilities:
– Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients across a range of manufacturing industries.
– Understand client needs, objectives, and challenges to provide effective solutions and address their unique requirements.
– Collaborate with internal teams including sales, engineering, and product development to align strategies and deliver value-added services.
– Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and proactively seek new business ventures.
– Present and demonstrate our products/services to clients, highlighting their benefits and impact on their operations.
– Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to provide valuable insights for business strategy refinement.
– Prepare and deliver regular reports on account status, sales forecasts, and key metrics to internal stakeholders.

Your Requirements:
– At least three years of proven experience as an Account Manager within the manufacturing/engineering sectors.
– In-depth understanding of manufacturing and engineering processes, challenges, and trends.
– Strong business acumen with the ability to translate client needs into innovative solutions.
– Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
– Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
– Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office suite.
– Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients.
