We are working with an expanding business in South Yorkshire that is looking to appoint an Account Manager in a new role for the business. As Account Manager, you will manage their account base through regular communication with various stakeholders to ensure sales volume increases and excellent customer service is delivered. You will join a successful and expanding business where you are empowered to make decisions that drive customer value.
We are looking for someone with Account Management experience for an engineering or manufacturing business. You will be selling a technical solution into those markets so it’s important you have dealt with engineers and technically-minded clients in the past.

Role and Responsibilities:
• Establish and maintain relationships with accounts
• Communicate new product propositions to prospective customers
• Plan, prepare and deliver responses (inclusive of presentations) to prospective customers
• Maintain Customer Relationship Management database and produce a monthly sales report
• Promote and develop corporate image and reputation and contribute to the overall business development plan
• Maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions
Skills and Abilities:
• Experience selling an engineered product or solution
• Experience in an account management role
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Prior experience with proposals would be an advantage
• Willing to learn and a quick absorber of training
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues at all levels
