We are looking to recruit an Account Manager for our client who are a multimillion pound turnover business based in Leeds. The successful candidate will be a high level communicator having the ability to manage accounts and ultimately build/create relationships. This is a role where you need to sell based on service rather than cost, and it is important you have experience of working for a market leader that can justify its excellent margins based on the great service it provides.

Account Manager – Role and Responsibilities – Internal Sales, Sales, Business Development, Account Management

* Responsible for managing new agreement roll-outs, marketing plans and mobilisation support activity to rapidly convert the business opportunity with support of marketing and the quote and technical functions
* Responsible for all commercial elements of the owned accounts through business analysis and business planning.
* Collaboration with Marketing to drive specific product sales in the assigned account base
* No cold calls, existing account management
* Deliver quarter by quarter sales & margin growth in line with agreed targets
* Manage a pipeline of existing business
* Identify key competitor account opportunities and formulate plans to deliver and convert significant wins, ensuring maximum profitability from right product and services mix

* Internal sales experience with a professional phone manner
* Self starter and highly motivated
* Experience using Microsoft office
* Ability to build strong relationships without face-to-face visits
