About the role


Futures are excited to be working with a well-known fmcg business who have a full portfolio of premium and great tasting products! Due to recent growth and exciting expansion plans they are looking for an Account Executive, this is a brand new role for the business.

This role would be a great fit for a recent Graduate looking to peruse a career in the fmcg market. Opportunities to progress and develop within the team will come within 9-12 months. Previous knowledge or experience of the fmcg industry would be advantageous.

The purpose of the Customer Account Executive is to drive growth via a base of existing customers (turnover circa £1m – £3m) and acquire new customers via targeted, measured and structured sales delivering excellent customer contact and service.

Role Responsibilities:
Managing an office based contact plan of around 50 customers.
Main point of contact for T3 Export customers, developing existing business through distribution gains, planning promotional activity to drive growth to budget target requirements
Analysing sales data to identify and propose opportunities
Managing accurate and up to date account profiles.
Manage investment budgets for the required customers
Responsible for volume forecasting of customer portfolio to provide YTG performance updates and demand planning requirements
Proactively seek out new business opportunities to drive direct and indirect volume and distribution
Upsell products in a positive and successful way, using all available communication channels
Ensure the CRM is completed 100% of the time, accurately and that Next Required Actions are fulfilled in a timely fashion
Operate within defined pricing and contact structure guidelines to maximise conversion
Ensure you adhere to agreed productivity targets as required
Lead new customers through the relevant on-boarding process (direct or indirect) ensuring this is a positive experience upon which new business can be built

Essential Skills

Hands on experience with customer service.
An ability to grasp customer needs and to increase customer engagement.
Understanding of sales performance metrics.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a strong ability to build relationships

Experience of working well with processes and systems.
Strong written, numeric and documentation skills attention to detail
