We are recruiting a new position for a growing Food manufacturing company. The role of Account Controller is based out of one their sites in West Yorkshire. Our client has several sites in the UK and supplies product to some of the leading retail outlets. The Ideal candidate will have Tesco/M&S/Sainsburys/Aldi exposure.

The successful Account Controller will be tasked with growing and developing Own Label, to ensure the businesses Commercial team continues to grow sales ahead of the market, and grows profit ahead of sales.
Account Controller Responsibilities:
-Development of a strategic plan for their Own Label Business throughout the group
-Full P and L management
-Management of revenue requirements and plans, and forecast/expectation for growth/decline
-Management and understanding of tender/range change timings and any related plans
-Management of innovation funnels alongside close collaboration with branded marketing team
-Recipe share and allergen reduction/simplification
-Understanding and relevance of changing retailer strategies
-Liaise regularly with Production and planning to develop supply chain function
The successful Account Controller will need to have previous experience working with customers on own label contracts. You will need to be analytical and have strong presentation skills. The Account Controller will need to have strong leadership skills, easily motivated and have a natural drive for success. This role would suit someone who has previous product development, marketing and strong customer facing skills.
