The Bath and Wells Multi Academy Trust manage 33 schools across Somerset & Wiltshire. Their CEO had taken the decision to move on to new challenges and engaged our services to find a replacement.
Our business has a multifaceted exposure to education and we assist Schools, Local Authorities and Academy Trusts. We deliver specialist senior leaders and consultants who offer operational and strategic support and transformation.
We met with our client to identify the requirements of the organisation in order to build a picture of the type of person needed for such a senior position. We agreed timescales and the process to follow through; including national advertising and a proactive sector wide search to identify a broad candidate pool. We managed a longlisting process of more than 100 interested and credible candidates and managed this down to 10 applicants who were delivered to our client for interview shortlisting. This was completed and 5 interviews were conducted with three individuals entered into a final selection meeting. Our client made a selection and we managed their offer, package negotiation, due diligence and the offer was accepted.
Throughout the entire process we gave weekly updates on developments to ensure complete transparency and peace of mind – all of which took place before during and after the initial Covid 19 lockdown.
